MIU MIU FALL/WINTER 2026

Mindful Intimacy

The smallness of our human bodies, in the vastness of our world. The Fall/Winter 2026 Miu Miu collection by Miuccia Prada takes as its basis the body, drawing clothes in close.

An ownership and agency of your own body, your own self and value - a warm sensuality, a warm sexuality. A focus on our bodies, our minds, ourselves, to which we must dedicate attention.

Tender, loving, care. Garments embrace the body, prioritizing and valuing that inside. Pulled close to the skin, washed fabrications give a gentleness and feeling, affording a sensuality to cloth, and a sense of human experience. The idea of the antique is not about the passage of history, but about existing within times.

An emotional resonance, a sentiment through clothes. Never vulnerable, the body is afforded a poetic romance, yet a strength. Acknowledging your own delicacy, each is still given authority, walking alone.

Purity, simplicity. Cotton poplin, washed double cashmere, linen, embroidered tulle, the sweetness of bows like underwear, the clothes that are closest to you. Linings of shearling, tweeds, hats and gloves. Decoration becomes a valorization of the body, while forms are exaggerated and amplified by confrontations of scale. Clothes that are a method of self-preservation, a means of valuing that inside. They emblematize the individual, and in turn the identity of Miu Miu, itself.

A space which alludes to vastness. The scenography inside the Palais d’léna is a wild forest, within a palazzo - dual panoramas symbolic of magnitude, the immense. It provides a context within which figures move, not bodies moving through a passive space but a confrontation, an active context and frame for these people. Like the clothes, it emphasizes their special and specific individuality, their bodies and minds.
